Here comes the rain! Our tomatoes are finally doing great and now the rain is coming. To prevent our great big ripe slicers from splitting due to the rain, we picked a BUNCH of boxes to have ready at the stand for you all for We-pick this weekend. We have some Romas ready for We-pick as well. We-pick tomatoes are $1.25 per pound and U-pick is still at $1 per pound. There is a bountiful amount still on the vine that are ripening and not in danger of splitting, so we will still have tomatoes for weeks to come!
This weekend we will also have Pre-picked boxes of Ruby Mac at the stand for those that don't want to pick in the rain. Our pre-picked Beilke boxes are $18 a piece and are exactly one full bucket of apples. Ruby Mac are a very fun sweet/tart apple that are a deep red color, crunchy, and great for applesauce, pies, and eating. We can also do other varieties in a Beilke box with advance notice. Feel free to call or email us to order other varieties.
Liberty and Melrose have also been added to the Ripe and Ready list! Liberty is a fun red apple that are the best for drying. Melrose is a favorite of our employees and is known for being similar to the Jonagold but just a tiny bit less sweet.
Honeycrisp are almost gone! I repeat, HONEYCRISP ARE ALMOST GONE! We will most likely sell out completely of this highly sought after apple within the next two days. If you were still hoping to find some, I would come visit this weekend!
Pumpkins are open!! We have quite the variety this year, but our unique colored pumpkins always seem to sell fast. Make sure to visit soon if you were hoping for some fun colors!
