Updated Monday, Aug 20th: We have LOADS of Honeycrisp apples left but a majority of the red, ripe ones have been picked. We are going to close all but 1 row for awhile so they can sweeten and gain some color. If you like them a little green, we will have the 1 row available. Trust me though, they will be so much better if we give the rest a little more time. And there are SO, SO many, so don't worry about us running out soon.
In the meantime, we have Gala apples to pick and u-pick tomatoes. Ruby Mac and Smoothie will be coming up next. Best guess is 10 days to 2 weeks for those??
We will open Friday, Aug 17th! Gala apples and our 2 younger rows of Honeycrisp are ready! (The older Honeycrisp rows will come ripe later.)
Gala apples are a great all-around apple. Sweet and crunchy for eating, great for applesauce and good for applesauce. Medium to small size. Great for kid's lunches.
Honeycrisp apples are a customer favorite. Super juicy and sweet flavor for eating. Holds it shape when cooked, so good to use in pies. Also a good flavor for applesauce.
Apples are $12 for a 5 gal bucket. (About 25# per bucket).
Coming up soon will be Ruby Mac and Smoothie apples.
