Looks like the Red Gravenstein are ready. Come soon before they all fall on the ground!
Gravenstein are great for baking.
We were telling people the end of August but looks like they are ready sooner than we thought.

Here are just some pictures of what has been happening the last week on the farm...swathed spinach seed and chinese cabbage seed, combining wheat now, harvested our green beans and continue watering our 2 fields of corn. (The combine is the big yellow machine, and the swather is the smaller red machine) The pictures of the computers are the 2 we have in our combine. They can tell us a lot of things....our yield per acre, moisture level...etc. This is our peak time here on the farm....we are putting in lots of hours right now.
We should be finishing with our 3rd picking of the Bluecrop today so it may be the last day of the fruit stand...if we have a little left to pick tomorrow, then tomorrow will be the last day.
We also have 3 types of garlic for sale: Elephant, White and Red Garlic. $3/lb
We will still be picking for a few weeks after the fruit stand is closed, so call us at 503-991-7207 if you'd like to order a flat.
Thank you for all who came and enjoyed our blueberries!
Red Gravenstein apples will be available for u-pick in 2 weeks at our farm: 4925 Rockdale St NE, Brooks.
