The Sunshine returns this weekend! A perfect time to come enjoy the ever expanding Ripe and Ready list. This week we have 8 different varieties of Apples to choose from.
Pumpkins are ready to be found in the patch! We have been thrilled to see the giant stems on our carving pumpkins, and the color coming out of our decorative patch are so exciting! Mini pumpkins, baking pumpkins, and gourds are all available at the stand as well as in the field.
Tomatoes are doing fantastic. Peppers are doing great also, with a plentiful amount of Jalapenos ready to be picked.
Watermelon in the field are done for the season. We have a few still available at the stand for we-pick.
The Sunflower Maze and U-pick Flowers are still going strong! The maze will last for a couple more weeks. Make sure to take a stroll after you are done picking your Apples.

Pumpkin Patch is Open!
The Pumpkins are ready! The hunt is on for your perfect pumpkin. We are so excited to see the exciting colors and shapes that are being found and brought to the stand. We had quite a fun time picking our variety this year and even have a few suprises to be found in the patch. Gourds and squash are now ready as well. We have Butternut, Acorn, Spaghetti and Delicatta squash available for u-pick.
Tomatoes and Peppers are full and ready to be picked. Our vines are loaded with red, ripe tomatoes.
The sunflower maze and u-pick flowers are in full bloom. If you haven't taken a walk through the maze yet, make sure to check it out. Beautiful flower bouquets created by Little Sunshine Flower Farm are also available at the stand Friday through Sunday.
Watermelon are in their last week. If you were wanting a few before they are done for the season, now is the time to grab one.

Melrose and Golden Delicious
Melrose and Golden Delicious have popped up and have been added to the Ripe and Ready list!
Melrose are a wonderful versatile apple. One of our favorite picks for eating. They are crisp, juicy, and sweet. But not too sweet. They are wonderful for eating, applesauce, and pies. A must try.
Our first row of Goldens are ready! Golden Delicious are one of the most underrated apples. Some people assume they will be soft and mushy since they have experienced that with store bought Golden Delicious. However, fresh off the tree, Goldens are fantastic! They are sweet, crunchy and juicy. They are also rated the second best apple for apple pies. Second only to the Grannysmith.
We have our last picking of Bartlett Pears for the season ready at the stand!
The Sunflower Maze is starting to bloom and looking wonderful. We don't charge admission for anything at the orchard and that includes the Sunflower Maze! Take a stroll and enjoy the cool grass. Sunflowers can be u-cut at our u-cut flower rate. We also have u-pick Dahlias and other flowers. And of course, Beautiful bouquets ready at the stand on the weekends.
Watermelon are still being picked in the field. However, we don't expect these to be plentiful for much longer. Make sure to come pick some before they are gone for the year.
Tomatoes and Peppers are plentiful and thriving with the weather we have been having. We will have Tomatoes and Peppers until the first frost, so for quite a few more weeks.
Cucumbers are about done for the season.
